Juventus have appointed ex- Italian national team boss Spalletti to lead the team until the end of the season.
The 66-year-old replaces the Croatian manager, who was let go after the Serie A side's defeat by Lazio on Sunday.
Tudor had joined the club in March as Thiago Motta's replacement but left after seven months following a string of eight matches without a victory.
Spalletti led Napoli to the Serie A title in 2022-23 before taking charge of Italy, who had failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup during Roberto Mancini's tenure.
He helped them qualify for Euro 2024 where they were knocked out in the last 16 by Switzerland.
However, Spalletti was sacked by Italy in June following a loss to Norway in World Cup qualifying, as Italy faced the possibility of not making a third World Cup in a row.
Spalletti's managerial career includes Inter Milan, Roma, and Udinese in Serie A and lifted the Russian league trophy twice while at Zenit St Petersburg.
Massimo Brambilla took interim charge of Juventus for their 3-1 win against Udinese on Wednesday which left them seventh in Serie A - trailing leaders Napoli by six points after nine matches.
In the Champions League, they sit 25th in the league phase, after recording one defeat and two ties in the initial three fixtures.
